Proud Educators Celebrates Brooklyn Pride Together.

Members of the Proud Educators Executive Committee joined together to celebrate Brooklyn Pride on June 8th. We gathered at Proud Educators member Doug Hecklinger’s home for a BBQ before heading to the parade on 5th avenue together. These gatherings, which have become a fixture on our Proud Educators calendar this year, help to build the strong network of community that allows us to engage in the work with each other for the last 5 years.
