Proud Educator Network Returns to CUNY Graduate Center

Members Jose Jimenez and Lisette Vergara co-hosted Queer Voices Rising on January 20th, 2024, one of our first major in-person events since the global pandemic. Proud Educators breathed new life into our ongoing partnership with Dr. Michelle Fine and the Public Science Project (PSP) at the CUNY Graduate Center. This was a day of solidarity, storytelling, healing and action where NYC Proud Educators joined us for workshops such as 'Building an Inclusive School Culture’ and ‘On Being an Out Educator.’
